Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor from Iceland . Her most well-known role is that as Jane Seymour , the young woman who is destined to be the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her role as Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem started her acting career as an actress at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. Her first stage performance was as a child in Iceland and was a part of TV and radio plays. Briem at the age of 16 moved to London and took part in her first production, Lenin In Love for the New End Theater. At 19 years of age, Briem was accepted at the famous Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, which she attended for three years.
