Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best famous for his role on the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Since his college days, Meloni was interested in the field of acting. He then studied at The University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he's appeared in films and on television however, it's his characters portrayed on small screens which have earned him acclaim. The ability of his characters to appear from both sides of the law is a draw for viewers. His first project was a television serial, however, he was later a detective for the NYPD. In recognition of his performance on the small screen, he's been up for nomination several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most distinctive facial features is said to be his piercing blue eye that has helped him portray characters who are rough and charismatic. He was listed on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
